The Wave of Peace

The Gibson Centre is pleased to announce the opening of an international exhibition to support peace on Sunday, September 20. A group of five contemporary artists, calling themselves the 'Travelling Wave', will exhibit their artwork at the Gibson Centre Gallery from September 20 � October 13, 2009, with the objective of promoting dialogue and understanding among nations. The five artists are Sandra Bray of Canada, Laura Leiden of the United States, Safa Bute of Turkey, Alfonso Caputo of Italy, and Monica Zacharias of Brazil. The exhibition is titled 'A Wave of Peace' . A portion of the sales from the exhibition will be directed to UNICEF.
