We still have a number of pieces available that can be viewed during gallery hours Wed-Sat 1-6PM or at the Downtow n Artwalk this coming Thursday.

In addition, there is tons to do with The Hive this month-
1. Today, Thursday, September 10th is Downtown Artwalk from 12-9:30 PM.
Admission is FREE, along with over 30 other galleries and museums open throughout the day and night- with a free Shuttle that takes you around the area, starting at The HIVE! In addition, we will be having live entertainment, dj's and a fashion show in the evening.

2. Friday, September 25th- Hive Closing September show and Feminine Oddities presents: "Femmes from Mars"- 8:30PM-12AM/ $5 at door
Come see wookies, space agents from mars, a number of performances throughout the night and girls in martian outfits....it shouldn't be missed!

3. LIMITED EDITION "KING BEE" HIVE TOY- $30
- a custom, paintable toy!!! Available for purchase in Oct ober
*Yes, the beez have been working late in their Hive to create a new, paintable Hive toy to be painted and exhibited in our November 2009 Sculpture show. Hive artists, Dave Kawano ( toy company, www.u1toyarts.com ) , artist/master sculptor Erick Rodriguez and myself, Nathan have been working to the bone to give birth to "King Bee".
"KING BEE" is:
-LIMITED EDITION: only 50 King Bees will be made to start, they will cost $30
- 8 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide
- He has movable arms, a removable stinger and wings, a head that turns (which can be painted right side up or upside down)
- Accessories: he comes with 3 different hats to wear (a crown, antennae, or top hat which make up to 10" in Height)
- Cast in Resin: All you have to do is prime/gesso him and you can paint in either acrylic or oil/ you can also sculpt on him.....please do!!!!
*An group show of custom painted "King Bee's" will be exhibited at our November Sculpture show. There will be no paintings in the November show all sculptures (including the 5 featured artists and our featured show "Masters of Sculpture"
