Thanks so much for coming out on November 1st for our opening, if you missed the show- there are more chances throughout the month to come out, see and purchase some amazing work!
1.Tonight, Hive Movie Night (every Wed. night 8:30PM at The Hive Gallery)-
playing Richard Elfman's "Forbidden Zone" (1980).
Admission is FREE- bring your own popcorn and beverages.
A mysterious door in the basement of the Hercules house leads to the Sixth Dimension by way of a gigantic set of intestine. When Frenchy slips through the door, King Fausto falls in love with her. Downtown Artwalk from 12-9:30 PM- Donation/Fundraiser for Hive Artist/photographer Chris Donham
Come on out from 12PM- 9:30PM for the artwalk and then stay for
Trophallaxis 9:30-11:30PM:
-a free forum for communication and energy exchange- open mic, poetry, spoken word, Dj's and more!!
In addition I will be taking donations for a good friend and artist/photographer of The Hive, Chris Donham who was just hit my a car on his scooter and has undergone emergency surgery on his collar bone and ribs. His bills are mounting and he is unable to work his job which requires him to use his immobilized arm.
3. Lost myspace friends
We're trying to find all our friends that got deleted from our myspace. Somehow we went from having over 8,000 friends, to having less than 4,500. So if you're reading this, if you could please help us out in any way by posting bulletins/blogs about us we'd greatly appreciate it. If you got deleted, we're sorry, it's nothing personal, it's just something that happened and we're trying to figure out the whole situation and how it happened.
