1. ARTWALK at THE HIVE: Annual "Beerotica" & EROTIC AND NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY Themed show-Thursday is Downtown Artwalk from 12-9:30 PM.
Over 30. other galleries and museums open throughout the day and night- with a free Shuttle that takes you around the area, starting at The HIVE! In addition, we will be having live entertainment, dj's and a fashion show in the evening. Donations for The Hive kindly accepted

An evening of spoken word and music, hosted by The Little Red Writer " sparks are flying at The Hive in July for our greatly anticipated sequel to last years Beerotica show. The Hive will have a special themed wall of works inspired by the word "Beerotica". The middle room will be curated by Heidi Calvert and is titled, "Nude vs. Erotic". This show will explore the differences between nude and erotic photography."

2. HIVE STUDIO RENTALS:
We are filled up at The Hive but have a list for those interested in either working or exhibiting in our Resident Studios. Those who rent at the Hive are :

things to a new level. In fact, this urge to challenge themselves and push the creative envelope is often nagging away at their brain. The question is, will the artist choose to listen or not? Will they take the plunge? Will they risk failure? Will they take their art to the extreme...?
On Saturday July 18, 2009 we'll be hosting an opening party at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, for the exhibition "LA to OC - emphasis:EXTREME". This exhibit brings ten of the downtown Los Angeles art galleries down to the OC to exhibit works of art from select artists.
