Friends of The Hive Gallery,

1. Welcome Hive Gallery lovers to our first ever "B3-Under the influence" video game themed show. Inspired by the world-renowned E3 (video game) conference occuring once a year in Los Angeles (June 15th-17th), our artists have created works "under the influence" of video games. This Saturday, June 5th, 2010artists have produced a wide variety of works, conceptually driven or inspired by the video game experience.
In addition, artist Dytch has painted a 16 foot wide by 8 foot tall vintage arcade inspired mural in the front of the gallery that is sure to turn some heads. Finally, show off your combat skills on our vintage Mortal Kombat II machine that will be in front room of the Hive Saturday night.

2. Our featured artists for JUNE are:

Featured Artist 1: Jehan Choo,
Featured Artist 2: Apricot Mantle,& nbsp;
Tall Wall Artist:
Salah,
Small Wall Artist:
Natalie Zigal,
Installation Artist: AKO and Jeff Meadows
Video Game mural by Aerosol Artist: Dytch www.dytch66.com

p.s. You can see a small detail of the wall attached to this email below. The piece was completed in 12 hour painting session and a time lapse of the painting will be presented on our youtube channel towards the end of the month at www.youtube.com/thehivegallery

3. Finally, we our middle/ performance room is filled with "non-themed" artist pieces. There are some truly amazing works in this show from front to back that you will not want to miss. Woven in Hive-night fashion, we have a lineup of performances aiming to thrill with bands, fashion, live painting, pole dancing, video game painting, and more.
